A&E Intervention Television Show
A&E Television has a new intervention documentary which airs regularly on their network. This weekly intervention show documents alcoholics and addicts who engage in destructive behavior because of their addictions. A&E's Intervention also follows their family members who are fed up and concerned with the addict and who want to perform an intervention. While there has been some negative feedback in the media for the intervention tv show, it is a great resource for those family members of an alcoholic or addict who wish to see what a alcoholism or drug intervention is all about. Even though the intervention portion of the documentary may only be 10 minutes, A&E has given families a brief look at how an intervention is planned and held. And, the intervention tv show follows portions of the lives of these addicts which brings more awareness to the alcoholism and addiction problems our society faces.
